Project Hk day 3!

Day 3 is finally up! 8th July.heh.after so LONG.

Itinerary for the day - Giant Buddha

-Tian Hou station just to look look see see n take pics!.heee.

-Happy valley racecourse! - did nt manage to find the place aferall.=/

n went to ARGYLE centre again! shopping shopping!shop till we drop! =D

seh.we woke up at 8 AM lor.everyday wake up so early.

im starting to suspect whether is this a holiday trip!

both gers camwhoring w/o me.taken with their new sunglasses which they brought on 1st day of hk trip.hehehe.just finding excuses to buy!=p

since nthing to do in MTR.so cams out!

here we are.finally reached our destination stop! but nt all.still need to take a long bus journey up to the hill to climb the GIANT buddha.- e 1 which meryl is yearning to go!

yea.FINALLY.wow.everything is so different. the air is much fresher n so ever relaxing.maybe it's up above all the places bah.that's y.

THE MAIN CHARACTER is here - giant buddha.

Giant Buddha! No trip to HK would be complete without a visit to the world's tallest,outdoor,seated bronze Buddha, which sits atop Ngong Ping plateau amid the spectacular mountain scenery of Lantau Island.

The majestic figure of the seated Buddha is 34 metres high,was cast in China n took over 10 yrs to complete!

We need to CLIMB 268 steps to reach the platform where the Buddha is seated. Before the trip, we're all worried.hehee.how to imagine our weak cum lazy body to climb 268 steps! but we still make it in the end! hehe. no big deal. we decided to climb the thousand buddha thingy which meryl told us for our next trip. hahahaa.

We make it to the TOP! hahaa..leg's breaking of cos.

wondering around the area n brought alot of souvenirs!

waaaa..like can see the clouds r so near ussss!

hot but windy!

walk around the temples and so many things to see neh.

Our vetegarian lunch! in a BIG portion lor..heh.but rather tasty.

Near the Citigate shopping mall. I LOVE DISCOUNTS! =D

n such a pity.we din go into the citygate shopping mall! n to our astonishment it have alot of factory outlets stores inside.

sigh. only get to know all these after we're back to sg. =S

heh.nvm. shall go back again next yr!

**claps** this is REALLY true. everyone needs retail therapy! hehehee

TOO MANY SHOPS.TOO LITTLE TIME! applies to us leh! mei shi jian.mei shi jain!

i demanded to go Tian Hou station.haha. both of them tot i wanted to go there shop shop.

they'r shocked to know i just want take pics with the station name.haha! but this station is super famous ok. n it will say - xia yi zai tian hou, which i like that song leh!
i love HK MTR station.every station gt nice caligraphy and designs.unlike sg.

FANG LI SHEN! my idol.heheeee. shuai n cool! heard that he's frm national swimming team last time.wah seh.talented.now so li hai in singing and acting!

Causeway Bay! - said to be e most famous place in Hk i think.

can be seen in alot of HK dramas n great shopping places!

however,after our shopping in argyle centre.we dun feel like shopping in causeway bay area,cos the prices are 3 times more.heh.

n nthing much to buy in SOGO too.such a disappointment.

waaaa..

Thus,we decided to go back to our fav shopping place! argyle centre at Mongkok again for cheap n nice bargains.! hehehehee..
